The Reiki Treatment is an energetic and spiritual healing.
This healing is not a medical act, doesn't exclude, and does not interfere with any medical or psychological investigations nor with any medical and psychotically treatments.

The Reiki treatment is relaxing and pleasant for the patient.
Usually the patient lies down on a special bed and the therapist applies his hands on different parts of the body (except intimate zones where the treatment is applied above these). Different forms of Reiki therapy are applied also if the patient is not lying down. In some situations the treatment can be made only by touching the treatment zone with the hands and even without a physical contact.
Does the Reiki healing have effect only on patients who believe in this therapy?
Not at all. Reiki is not a suggestion, superstition, hypnosis, psychotherapy, or imagination. The patient only has to ask the therapist treat him and to agree to the terms. The effects are not caused by believe or disbelieve in the Reiki healing.
